Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound fresh, deveined shrimp Rinse under cold water and pat dry.
Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Use high-quality extra virgin.
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust to taste.
Seasoning

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. Start with one pound of fresh, deveined shrimp. Rinse them under cold water until they feel firm and look glistening. Pat dry with paper towels.
Mix the Marinade
  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
Marinate the Shrimp
  1. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss gently. Let them soak for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat the Grill
  1. Heat your grill to medium-high, around 400°F.
Grill the Shrimp
  1. Skewer the marinated shrimp and place them on the grill. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Remove from the grill and let rest briefly. Serve warm with fresh herbs or a wedge of lime.
