For the Sauce
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the chicken by cutting the boneless, skinless breasts into strips and season them generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix the sauce by combining the soy sauce, brown sugar, and minced garlic in a bowl. Stir until well combined and let the flavors meld together for about 5 minutes.
  4. Combine the panko breadcrumbs and freshly grated Parmesan cheese in another bowl.
  5. Dip each chicken strip into the sauce, then coat it with the panko mixture until fully covered.
  6. Arrange the coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they have room to crisp up beautifully. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve the tenders hot with any leftover sauce drizzled on top.
