Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Coating
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • ½ cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large Egg beaten
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
For Flavor
  • 2 cloves Fresh garlic, minced
  • to spray Olive oil for spraying

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels, then season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Combine panko breadcrumbs with half of the grated Parmesan in one bowl, and beat the egg in another bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg wash, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down to adhere.
  5. Spray both sides of the coated chicken with olive oil and place in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Spoon marinara sauce over each piece, topping with mozzarella cheese.
  8. Return the basket to the air fryer for an additional 3 minutes to melt the cheese.
